I led the creative direction for The Barbed Wire, a next-generation digital media platform crafted for Texans who love Texas. The goal was to establish a bold, unmistakable visual identity that captured the publication’s regional pride and editorial edge.
I developed a cohesive visual system, along with writing a playful, yet sharp, brand voice, that could flex seamlessly across web, mobile, social media, and merchandise. Each element was intentionally designed to reinforce the brand’s distinct personality and cultural relevance.
The final creative direction gave The Barbed Wire a strong, unified presence and positioned the brand for a high-impact debut across platforms and audiences.
